Compared with traditional short-range communication, near-field communication (NFC) has natural security and rapid connection establishment. These advantages also make NFC popular in the field of mobile phones and security, such as smart door locks, access control, etc. have NFC functions.
Currently, a security product (keypad) I am working on has also added NFC function. The traditional keypad is to set a password, and after the password is pressed, the keypad can perform subsequent work. With the addition of the NFC function, the user can directly swipe the card, and the keypad can be used for follow-up work without pressing the button. So this function is undoubtedly a highlight of the product I designed, and it is also an important difference from the keypad in traditional security products.
